Children's Church Receives New Identity, Purpose

We're going to children's church this morning, no I mean, we're going to Kids 4 Christ!

The fresh name, and new identity for the children's church ministry for children ages 4-12 is Kids 4 Christ. It is much more than a name though. Leaders Stephanie, Mary, and Shawn Richey, with a number of talented adult team members, pledge to teach the whole truth of God to children in a fun and exciting way. "We're excited to start the new year off on a great start with Kids 4 Christ. Kids, get ready for a new, and fun time growing in God!," said leader Mary Richey.

Kids 4 Christ is a monthly ministry held the first Sunday of each month. For more information on this ministry click here.

Drama Team Presents "Another Christmas Carol"

Bah humbug, Mr. Ebenezer! The full-length production, written and directed by Connie Hart was a hit with the audience each of the two nights it was preformed, December 15 and 16, 2006. The over 30 member cast and crew created a 1876 London feel right here in Arkansas!

Filled with humor, love, and the message of Christ, "Another Christmas Carol" was a great story to remind us that only God can truly make our lives have significance and substance, nothing else, not money, riches, or fame can do what God can do in our lives.

The production was a Christian adaptation of the popular story "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens.
